Art can change people's life

Art Hero Vic Muniz,
I still remember when I first saw the screening for his documentary film the waste land at the Art Gallery of Ontario, the host mentioned about Vic Muniz's journey to make this project happen and I remember when he said he is still alive.. I encourage everybody to see the film, that is linked above.

When you see the big picture of making art you definitely would realize that art is not about a painting on a wall. Vic illustrated this idea thoroughly through his determination and believes. Touching this category of the society and convincing them to work with him and from there he flew with them with type of work that met the international criteria and landing them on the road of fame making them stars.

I'm not bringing that up to talk about vic Muniz,  although with no obligation he is the hero, but I want to talk about the other side of this project, let us imagine the cycle that this project went through from the time the idea was born until it entered the museum.

How many people knew about this project?
How many people helped to make it happen?
How many were against it?
How about the government agreements -maybe- and the municipality's participation?
How many organizations were involved in the process?.
How many employers worked from the beginning to the end of this project?.
Does this project increase the awareness of the meaning of life for this category of the society?
How did it help them in changing their life?
How about the publication? How did it help Muniz to send his voice to the world and document his great job?
And I'm sure if you think with me you can add more and more because Big art leaves it's impression in our life when it comes from art heroes.
