My Identity

Identity is about where you belong, however; it doesn't matter if you are an artist or not, it is about being proud of that identity , and to be able to represent it.
I always admire artists who carry this responsibility to show their identity through their artwork, I met some of them , obviously; their identity embody their personality and their personality and their attitude talk about their identity  .
Just look at their work you will know to whom they belong and what they intended to show , their work is a documentary for the life style in their country , social issue , political allegiance , feminine trend and other concerns.
Shirin Neshat, a revolutionary in the art world; when she depicted the Iranian woman's life during the war .
Jayce Wieland showed her feminine when she printed O Canada with her lipstick.
Artist has the ability to envision their identity and translate it to an artwork, that equal thousand of pages the history have registered .
